LaToya is a cybersecurity expert, U.S. Air Force veteran, and lifelong advocate for empowerment through education and self-awareness. Born and raised in Hartford, Connecticut, she rose above the challenges of her inner-city environment to build a distinguished career in Information Technology and Cybersecurity. After graduating high school, LaToya enlisted in the United States Air Force, where she was guided into the computer career field. Over 20 years of honorable service, she honed her technical, security, and leadership skills before transitioning into federal government contracting, supporting both the intelligence and health services sectors. She holds an Associate’s in Information Systems Management, a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity, a Master’s in Business Administration, and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) credential.
In 2019, LaToya began volunteering with Indigenous Education (INDEDU), where she found deep alignment with its mission to teach untold, fact-based Indigenous history to the community. Her connection to this work is both purposeful and personal—LaToya is actively researching and reclaiming her Indigenous heritage, which was orally passed down by her great-grandfather, who shared that their roots lie in the Mohawk Nation. This ancestral knowledge fuels her dedication to cultural preservation, truth-centered education, and the healing power of reclaiming identity.
LaToya continues to expand her understanding of human behavior and spiritual growth through a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and studies in Metaphysical Sciences. Whether through cybersecurity, cultural education, or personal transformation, she is committed to helping others rise above limitations and live in alignment with their highest potential—because knowledge, in all its forms, is the foundation of liberation and legacy.
